Monitoring and evaluation of child labour in agriculture

The course will contribute to the capacity development of:

• policy makers and advisors of agricultural related policy,
• agricultural programme designers and implementers,
• agricultural producer organizations,
• agricultural researchers, and
• agricultural statisticians,

who wish and need to know more about tackling child labour in agriculture.

• How to use a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system to gather information.
  
• The use of tools to monitor prevention, reduction and elimination of child labour in agricultural programmes.
  
• Identifying challenges to monitor child labour in agriculture and define adequate actions.
  
• Understanding what constitutes an evidence base to demonstrate changes in child labour in farming, fishing, livestock or forestry.
  

The course consists of  2  lessons, ranging from approximately  40  to  45  minutes duration each:

• Lesson 1 – Monitoring progress to address child labour in agriculture
• Lesson 2 – Evidence of impact

The online version of this course runs on the latest versions of the major browsers, such as Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox.

The downloadable version only runs on Windows PC’s and no additional software is needed.
