This course describes a series of analytical, educational and normative methodologies that offer guidance and hands-on advice on the practical aspects of the right to adequate food. It covers a wide range of operational issues such as assessment, legislation, advocacy, education, budgeting and monitoring of this human right.

The major learner groups for the course include:

The course consists of 6 lessons, ranging from approximately 35 to 45 minutes duration each:

  • Lesson 1 - Roles and Right to Adequate Food Tasks
  • Lesson 2 - Assessing the Right to Adequate Food
  • Lesson 3 - Budget work to advance the Right to Adequate Food
  • Lesson 4 - Legislating for the Right to Adequate Food
  • Lesson 5 - Monitoring the Right to Adequate Food
  • Lesson 6 - Advocating for the Right to Adequate Food
